맥클러 교수님은  21세기의 우리 육체의 미세한 세계를 탐구하며,
그 세계를 더욱 작은 스케일로 시각화 하려는 우리의 시도를 작업에 반영하고 있습니다.

폴 맥클러교수님은 1989년에서 1999년에 걸쳐 캐나다  NSCAD University, 스페인 Escola Massana, 아일랜드 National College of Art and Design에서 공부하셨고
15년이 넘는 시간동안 장신구 작가로 활동하셨고 국제적으로 전시를 해오셨습니다.
그의 작업은 바르셀로나, 스코트랜드 캐나다의 뮤지엄을 포함한 개인 혹은 공공의 여러 전시장들을 대표해 왔습니다.

맥클러 교수는 NSCAD University에서 교환교수직을 역임하셨고,  Ontario College of Art and Design에서 강의.
2000년부터는 토론토의 Jewellery Studies at George Brown College에서 교수님으로 계십니다.

Take a closer look at this Canadian studio jeweller’s work. McClure explores the microscopic world of our 21st century bodies and reflects upon our quest to visualise the world on an ever decreasing scale.

Paul McClure received his training from NSCAD University, Halifax, Canada (BFA, 1989);
Escola Massana, Barcelona, Spain; and National College of Art and Design, Dublin, Ireland (MA, 1999).
He has been a practicing studio jeweller for over fifteen years and he exhibits internationally.
His work is represented in private and public collections including The Barcelona Museum of Decorative Arts,
The National Museum of Scotland, and The Canadian Museum of Civilization.

McClure has been Associate Professor at NSCAD University and has taught at the Ontario College of Art and Design. 
Since 2000 he has been professor in Jewellery Studies at George Brown College in Toronto.
